Westnut was born out of necessity and vision during the challenging post-Soviet years of the 1990s. With the Russian market closed and a lack of formal agricultural infrastructure, a group of innovative farmers banded together to seize new opportunities, focusing on hazelnuts—a crop perfectly adapted to Georgia’s climate and soil. By pooling our knowledge and resources, we began exporting in-shell hazelnuts to Europe, emerging as pioneers in the region.
As the years passed, this collaboration evolved into a fully established company. With rising demand and expanding expertise, we took the next step by constructing our own processing facility.
Today, Westnut stands as a vertically integrated producer, seamlessly combining traditional farming practices with modern processing, logistics, and international trade and is trusted by some of the world’s leading confectionery and food companies — from global brands to small family-owned businesses across the globe.

Premium Georgian Hazelnuts — From Orchard to Export
Westnut offers a complete range of hazelnut products, processed and packaged to meet the highest international standards.
We maintain full control over the production process — from cultivation and harvesting to drying, cracking, and final packaging. This guarantees consistent quality and food safety for every shipment
Georgian raw hazelnut kernels are handpicked from the finest nuts grown in the country’s prime regions. They come directly from local farms and are processed in our certified facilities—perfect for roasting, chocolates, baked goods, and nut-based products.
Georgian blanched hazelnuts are skinless, ivory kernels made through gentle blanching that preserves nutrition. Smooth and clean in flavor, they’re ideal for premium confectionery, pralines, spreads, and dairy alternatives, with improved shelf life and appearance.
Georgian in-shell hazelnuts are peak-harvested, naturally dried, and graded for high kernel yield. Their hard shells protect freshness for long storage, making them ideal for snacking or further processing.
Our chopped hazelnuts are premium kernels diced to set sizes for industrial use. Offered raw, roasted, or blanched, they add flavor, texture, and convenience, with sizes from coarse to fine.
Our natural half-broken kernels are produced from premium nuts split during processing. Retaining their full flavor, aroma, and nutrients, they offer a cost-effective solution for manufacturers.
Westnut's hazelnut meal is 100% pure, finely ground kernels with no additives. Rich in nutrients, it adds a nutty flavor and smooth texture to baking, desserts, coatings, and spreads.
